Become a true knight or man-at-arms wielding the Leberecht Arming Sword. With this reliable blade by your side, you can immerse yourself in the age of swords, castles, and chivalry with its unique style.
Forged by Mytholon
Forged by hand from spring steel, this fully functional sword brings to life the iconic styles of medieval European swords that we all know and love. This fully functional weapon has a full tang. A full tang means the metal blade extends into the handle in one piece, giving the weapon strength and balance. Spring steel means this sword is forged from steel that has higher amounts of carbon, giving it a higher level of elasticity and resilience.
The straight, unsharpened blade has a wide fuller down the forte. The fuller removes excess weight from the blade without compromising its integrity, further bolstering the unsharpened edges as a result. At the end, the tip is round for added safety. Please note this sword is handmade, meaning it may vary slightly in color and shape. Keep in mind that any minor notches along the blade are not defects in the combat sword’s design, but are the result of resistance testing.
Moving down to the hilt, the crossguard has a slight taper. Each quillon tapers into a thin terminal that curls toward the blade slightly. The quillon block in the middle angles out over the base of the blade like a langet. Further down, the black leather-wrapped handle accommodates a one-handed grip. At the bottom, there is a grooved scent-stopper pommel.
