The double-edged, unsharpened blade has a wide fuller down the forte and a distal taper. The fuller removes excess weight from the blade without compromising its strength or integrity, and as a result, it pushes material toward the edges to reinforce it. Having a distal taper means the blade is wider at the base before gradually narrowing toward the tip. At the end, the tip is round for added safety. Please note this sword is handmade, meaning it may vary slightly in color and shape.
