Armour up your costume, cosplay, or LARP character with the Tilke Steel Elbow Armour. Durable, reliable, and with an authentic medieval look, this elbow armour has you covered whether you’re fighting in epic fantasy battles or adding to your armour kit.
Forged by Mytholon
This medieval arm armour, sold as a pair, is designed as three distinct parts connected together. Forged from 18 gauge mild steel, this Mytholon armour piece is capable of standing up to intense LARP combat. This armour is also coated in oil to protect from rust. At the top, the upper rerebrace, also known as the upper cannon that guards the bicep, is a solid band and angled so you can slip your arm through and your movement will be unhindered. There are two eyelets at the top of this rerebrace, perfect for tying to your gambeson, mail shirt, and your shoulder armour alike. Below the rerebrace is the round elbow piece, also known as the couter, with rolled edges and rivets bolstering it. The rolled edges assist in deflecting enemy attacks.
Coming to the bottom, there is a vambrace designed to protect your forearm, also known as the lower cannon. The vambrace is hinged, meaning it opens up so you can place your forearm in before buckling the leather straps over it. This vambrace also leaves your hand free to wear a glove. Each piece in this Mytholon arm armour is connected together through leather straps. The leather straps are firmly anchored to the armour through brass-tone rivets and washers. This allows you a greater amount of articulation without sacrificing protection on the battlefield. There are two adjustable leather straps. One is across the couter and the other across the vambrace.
Unleash Your Inner Warrior
Designed for the grand conflicts of LARP combat, this full arm armour is perfect for a wide variety of characters. Step into the roles of gallant knights fighting for glory or a stalwart guard protecting the city wearing this medieval fantasy armour. The excellent protection, coupled with its distinct medieval fantasy style, is ideal for any kind of adventurer character or look you’re building. This medieval elbow armour is excellent for your medieval armour set for light reenactment, LARPing, and costuming with a battle-hardened style. You can tie this Mytholon armour to your spaulders or pauldrons using the eyelets, or tie them to your gambeson, brigandine, or cuirass to keep them in place while you move.
It is recommended to place this medieval fantasy arm armour on a suit of arming wear. It is also recommended to tie the straps tight when placed on arming wear, as gravity will want to pull the plates down your arm and securing them with a snug fit will help them stay in place. Show them off as a part of your Renaissance fair costume. You can impress at your next cosplay convention with real steel protecting your arms. This Tilke arm armour has you covered whether you’re attending a LARP battle, Ren fair, or convention.
