The two leather straps and buckles facing forward are for adjusting the gorget. The ones facing to the side are for attaching shoulder armor pieces like pauldrons and spaulders. The harness has two adjustable leather straps, one on either side, that lay underneath the arms. These secure the gorget on the body.

This medieval leather gorget tapers to a fine point at the bottom and is embossed with a layered design for extra detail. The gorget is attached to the chest harness straps through rivets. Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
