Forged from 18 gauge mild steel, these women’s spaulders are intended for LARP combat and costuming. Please note these women’s steel shoulder guards come coated in oil to protect them from rust. These spaulders are sold as a pair. They have a blackened finish that’s perfect for shadow paladins, dark warrior princesses, and other dark fantasy characters!

The spaulders are designed as three plates held together with leather straps. The three separate plates are riveted to leather straps on the back, which allows them a degree of flexibility to match the wearer’s movements. The upper plate, called the cop, is shaped like a rectangular dome to cover the front, back, and top of the shoulders. The cop is designed to be attached to the Blackened Nova Steel Cuirass (MY102002).

The smaller piece below the cop is called the rerebrace and covers the upper arms. The cop and the rerebrace have contoured borders for added detail. Two rivets on the upper rerebrace anchor it to the cop. A single rivet anchors the upper rerebrace to the lower. Across the lower rerebrace, underneath the spaulder, is an adjustable strap meant to secure around your arm. The spaulders have a contoured border for added detail.
