Forged from 18 gauge mild steel, this women’s cuirass is intended for LARP combat and costuming. Please note this women’s cuirass comes coated in oil to protect it from rust. The cuirass has an elegant design that accentuates your figure while keeping you protected. Theis knight armour has a blackened finish that’s perfect for shadow paladins, dark warrior princesses, and other dark fantasy characters!

This LARP cuirass is designed as two pieces attached by leather straps. Starting with the breastplate in the front, it has a round neck line with two leather straps facing opposite directions for attaching to the Blackened Nova Steel Spaulders (MY102006) or your own pauldrons. The spaulder straps are riveted to longer, forward-facing straps over the shoulders. These forward-facing straps are the shoulder straps. They are sturdy, wide, and adjustable with buckles attached to the backplate.

The side plates are articulated for better movement and they’re curved for a flattering silhouette. The backplate covers the lower back while allowing your upper back and arms free and unhindered. Six leather straps, three on each steel panel, attach to the round backplate. This open space is perfect for wearing your favorite cloak. Four straps at the bottom of the cuirass are intended for attaching to the Blackened Nova Steel Tassets (MY102008). You can also attach other tassets and thigh armor pieces to the bottom of this women’s medieval armour that use buckles.

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
